Navtool NAVRGB+MBSIRC Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 2005-2008 Navigation Video Interface
This interface lets you add DVD, Rear View Camera or any other video source to your factory navigation screen.
NavRGB 2.0 is a new generation of navigation video interfaces that add video capabilities to MERCEDES-BENZ vehicles with factory installed navigation system, or with color information screen.
NavRGB 2.0 does not replace or add a factory navigation system; it creates additional video inputs for the factory installed navigation system or color information screen.
NavRGB 2.0 + MBCIRC are 100% plug and play -- no wire cutting required. NavTool plug and play installation Ribbon Cable es are made using O.E.M. connectors. OEM MERCEDES-BENZ connectors.
NavRGB 2.0 is an externally wired plug and play video interface that is installed in-line with the navigation computer and navigation screen. It works simply by interrupting the video signal from the navigation computer when it is activated, or when +12V are applied on the reverse camera wire. When this occur the navigation system video image will be replaced by the video source connected to NavRGB 2.0 video interface.
NavRGB 2.0 is a video-only input interface and does not have any audio inputs. If the vehicle does not have a factory installed AUX audio jack, then an auxiliary audio input adapter or an audio FM modulator is needed to connect audio signals from an external Audio/Video source to the factory audio system.
NavRGB 2.0 is video-in-motion enabled for off-road use, so the video image will stay on the screen even while the vehicle is in motion, however we do not recommend doing this.
Factory navigation DVD-ROM cannot play DVD movies, external video source is needed to display video on the factory navigation screen. Examples of video sources: DVD player, Game Console, Digital Media Player, HDD, iPhone, iPad, iPod Video (NavRGB 2.0 does not support iPod Controls or iPod audio).
